Promenade Sous Les Étoiles Eau de Parfum, developed by Principal Perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani of DSM-Firmenich, is evocative of the poise, resplendence, and magnetism Princess Grace possessed.
An aura of mystery
Promenade Sous Les Étoiles is a complex floral amber fragrance that employs the enigmatic oud note, a first for Grace de Monaco. Oud, or agarwood, is a fragrant resin in the aquilaria tree. Oud is intensely aromatic and has a woody, smoky character with traces of sweetness and earthiness. In Promenade Sous Les Étoiles, DSM-Firmenich’s advanced technology known as NaturePrint® was used to reproduce the olfactive DNA of agarwood smoke. Together with the oud, it plays a pivotal role in adding depth and dimension to the Eau de Parfum.
The fragrance alchemist
Hamid Merati-Kashani is a Principal Perfumer at DSM-Firmenich, innovators in the fragrance and flavor industry. Born in Germany and raised in Iran, the vibrant florals and spices of his upbringing inspired his career and affinity for natural and raw materials. While the study of chemistry provided the technical foundation, his artistic acumen made him the perfect fit for the world of perfumery. Merati-Kashani has been lauded for creating evocative, emotional fragrances often inspired by the Middle East. His elegant and authentic creations are born from his passion for pushing the boundaries of perfumery, his dedication to his clients, and his focus on sustainability.
Full-toned florals
At first encounter, Promenade Sous Les Étoiles radiates with top notes of bergamot, jasmine sambac, and dewy magnolia. These bright, fresh, and floral notes blend harmoniously, creating an ethereal introduction. As the fragrance settles, the heart notes reveal a luxurious bouquet of rose de mai absolute and ylang-ylang, mingling with the balsamic olibanum (also known as frankincense) and the earthy patchouli. This nuanced heart adds character and sophistication to the fragrance.

The true magic of Promenade Sous Les Étoiles lies in its base, where agarwood smoke NaturePrint® and oud intertwine with the sweet, resinous tones of benzoin and vanilla, grounded by the creamy warmth of sandalwood and musk.
